Abstracts in PDF format:
Abstracts for oral and poster presentations need to be sent in by February 1., both in english and icelandic, one PDF document with the icelandic version and another PDF document with the english version see example
in icelandic,
in english.
There are no strict rules for the layout of the abstracts except that the name of the presenter should be underlined and his e-mail address should be given at the end of the author list. The abstracts will be published on the web site of the symposium exactly as they are sent to thing@raunvis.hi.is.
If an oral presentation is preferred over a poster presentation, this should be stated in the e-mail when the abstract is submitted, and it should then also be stated whether the presentation will be given in english or icelandic.
Posters:
Posters can be up to 90 cm wide and 150 cm tall. A discount for the printing of posters is being negotiated with Samskipti.
Oral presentations:
Oral presentations can be either in icelandic or english, but the presentation language needs to be specified when the abstract is submitted to thing@raunvis.hi.is
(the abstract needs to be submitted both in icelandic and english irrespective of the language used in the presentation). Oral presentations will each be allocated 15 minutes in the program.
